Come have a look at what the process was behind the design of the shirt: Aesthetic skull”.
“Aesthetic Skull” is my expression of love towards skeletons and in particular skulls. I think Skulls are beautiful, the texture, how the shape influences ones face. However, few share my fascination with them, because it is so connected to death. I wanted to show people the beauty of skulls and that it doesn’t have to go hand in hand with death.
In my first sketch I mashed together the skull with something beautiful, a peacock, some flowers. I realized, however, that this wasn’t working. It was just a skull with some pretty things around it, so I went back to the drawing board.
In order to convince other people of the beauty of skulls, I’d have to show them what parts made them beautiful in my opinion. I returned with the flower idea. It’s commonly considered something beautiful and represent a lifeform in the “bloom” of its life.
However, unlike last time, I’d integrate it with the skull, while emphasizing the more beautiful lines and shapes of the skull. So up close you’d see the beautiful flowers in beautiful lines. However, you’d only realize these lines are actually from a skull if you stepped back enough. Hopefully, convincing you that a skull can actually be a thing of beauty.
Have a look down here, are you convinced?

My homie Milou created a lovely t-shirt for Onigiri tees. Next time I am around Eindhoven I am getting me a pretty skull!
